’’ سیرت الانبیاء‘‘انبیاءومرسلین علیہم السلام کی پاکیزہ سیرتوں اور ان کی قوموں کے احوال پر مشتمل بہترین اور مستند کتاب ہے ۔ اس کتاب میں 33 انبیائے کرام علیہم السلام کی سیرت کو تفصیل کے ساتھ بیان کیا گیا ہے ۔ اس کتاب میں ہر نبی کی سیرت بیان کرنے سے پہلے ابتدا میں ٹائٹل پیج لگایا گیا ہے جس میں کئی مبارک اور عبرت انگیز مقامات کی تصاویر شائع کی گئی ہیں۔اس کتاب کی خصوصیت یہ ہے کہ اس میں انبیائے کرام علیہم السلام سے متعلق آیات اور احادیث کو الگ الگ باب (chapter) میں ذکر کیا گیا ہے اور انبیائے کرام علیہم السلام کی سیرتوں کو قرآن و حدیث کی روشنی میں بیان کیا گیا ہے جس سے قاری کو فہمِ قرآن کے ساتھ ساتھ احادیث کا علم بھی حاصل ہوتا ہے۔گزشتہ اقوام میں پائی جانے والی خرابیاں اور ان پر آنے والے عذاب کی تفصیل نیز درس و نصیحت پر مشتمل نکات بھی اس کتاب میں موجود ہیں ۔ کتاب ’’سیرت الانبیاء‘‘ میں جگہ جگہ عقائد بھی بیان کیے گئے ہیں ۔اسی طرح آیاتِ قرآنیہ سے ثابت ہونے والے بہت سے فقہی مسائل بھی بیان کیے گئے ہیں۔ انبیائے کرام کی سیرتوں کے ضمن میں ان کی سنتیں بھی بیان کی گئی ہیں ۔ ہر نبی کی خصوصیت اور ان پر ہونے والے انعامات کے ساتھ ساتھ موجودہ زمانے میں انبیائے کرام کی سیرتوں پر ہونے والے اعتراضات کے جوابات بھی اس کتاب کا حصہ ہیں۔ کتاب کے آخر میں انبیائے کرام علیہم السلام کی وہ دعائیں جو قرآن کریم میں مذکور ہیں ، انہیں علیحدہ باب میں ذکر کیا گیا ہے۔ حضرت سفیان بن عیینہ علیہ الرحمۃ کا فرمان ہے : ’’عند ذکر الصالحین تنزل الرحمۃ‘‘ یعنی صالحین کے ذکر کے وقت رحمتوں کا نزول ہوتا ہے۔لہذا اس کتاب کا مطالعہ جہاں علم دین حاصل کرنے کا بہترین ذریعہ ہے ، وہیں رحمتوں کے نزول کا بھی سبب ہے۔

“Seerat al-Anbiya” is an excellent and authentic book containing the pure biographies of the Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon them) and the stories of their peoples. This book describes the biographies of 33 Prophets (peace be upon them) in detail. Before describing the biographies of each Prophet in this book, a title page has been placed at the beginning, in which pictures of many blessed and instructive places have been published. The specialty of this book is that it mentions the verses and hadiths related to the Prophets (peace be upon them) in separate chapters and the biographies of the Prophets (peace be upon them) have been described in the light of the Quran and the Hadith, which helps the reader to understand the Quran as well as the Hadiths. The book also contains details of the evils found in past nations and the punishment that came upon them, as well as points of lesson and advice. In the book “Seerat al-Anbiya”, beliefs are also explained at various places. Similarly, many jurisprudential issues proven by the verses of the Quran are also explained. In the context of the seerahs of the prophets, their Sunnahs are also explained. Along with the characteristics of each prophet and the blessings bestowed upon them, the answers to the objections raised against the seerahs of the prophets in the present era are also part of this book. At the end of the book, the supplications of the prophets (peace be upon them) that are mentioned in the Holy Quran are mentioned in a separate chapter. Hazrat Sufyan bin Uyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “When the righteous are mentioned, mercy descends.” That is, mercy descends at the time of mentioning the righteous. Therefore, while studying this book is the best means of acquiring religious knowledge, it is also the cause of the descent of mercy.
